In 1990, Thomas Leighton Forbes came from a family of entrepreneurship and high-spirited liveliness. In 1929 Leighton Bailey Forbes, Leighton's grandfather, a graduate of Princeton University, became the co Founder of the Monroe Company located in Morristown, New Jersey. Leighton's father, Thomas Bailey Forbes, also a graduate of Princeton University worked at The Monroe Company amoung other international manufacturing companies.
